THE POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: "I am blind, please help." There were only a few coins in the hat.
A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat.
He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words.
Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy. That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were.
The boy recognised his footsteps and asked, "Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?"
The man said, "I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way." I wrote: "Today is a beautiful day but I cannot see it."
Both signs told people that the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said the boy was blind. The second sign told people that they were so lucky that they were not blind.
Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective?
Moral of the Story: Be thankful for what you have. Be creative. Be innovative. Think differently and positively.
When life gives you a 100 reasons to cry, show life that you have 1000 reasons to smile Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear. Keep the faith and drop the fear.
The most beautiful thing is to see a person smiling¦ And even more beautiful is, knowing that you are the reason behind it!!

My time consuming artwork
Technique used: Stippling

Stippling is the creation of a pattern stimulating varying degrees of solidity or in simple terms shading by using small dots.
This process is one of many tedious approaches to drawing. It didn't take long to complete this piece , I just enjoy breaks . I'm guessing it took around 3hrs , if I did the entire piece in stippling it would've been around 6-7 hours to complete.
Mediums : pen , marker , & pencil (not for shading)

Heels rule! Sneakers drool

The design doesn't scream Space Jam to me , it looks like every other edition Jordan has put out. I wanted to cop these but I'm no longer a sneaker fanatic . You can't just buy a pair of jordans & not ever anticipate on its next release. I hate buying sneaks because its your duty to keep up with the trend ,it's an addiction. Since sneakers aren't timeless like every other shoe they're no longer exclusive to me . Jordans are by far the most unexclusive shoe out , too many ppl have them. That's the one thing I hate about sneakers your always bound to find 2-5 random ppl wearing your pair. But with Jordans the numbers go up ,the shoe is too common.
I feel like wearing sneaks can age you depending on the design. No matter how colorful it'll give you sense of youth. The more detailed & industrial looking it'll seem more like an athletic shoe. Whenever I wear them I feel like I'm back in gradeschool trying to outdue the next person with fresh kicks. Sneakers are no longer of importance to me unless execising or dancing.
For some reason heels will never get outdated , well at least the ones I buy won't. When purchasing shoes the trick is to not pick out what's top trending shoe at the moment , I go for the timeless look somewhat classic. So people won't ever no what year my shoe came out.

These heels will be forever timeless , with its historian design women can rock it then & they can always rock it now.

I'm back & I'm on a misson
A fellow friend & I came up with a plan to raise money for a special purpose (non-disclosed) .And I thought the easiest way would be for me to charge 233 ppl $3.00 for face sketches (portraits) of themselves. This is our get fast money plan which explains why the price is so reasonable . I'm actually thinking about doing this every month , since I'm a part time freelance artist.
I've done this before but for free , I sketch my entire student body comprised of 500 ppl in my sketchbook . So 233 should be a sinch since I sketch pretty fast.
Examples of what you're in for

To view more of my work click here
The 1st 233 ppl to leave a comment stating they want to be drawn gets the $3 discount . Every other person after is $20 . So first come first serve tell your friends & family to come on down lol

I have a confession

"Moment of silence"...you can stop laughing now.
I know this is very embarrassing , somewhat unorthodox of me. But I can't grasp my hands on something filled with words , I like visuals. Letters bore me but numbers soothe me ,I associate numbers with art. During reading time at school ,I always sketched ..it was my addiction. All the students were frozen reading, so it was my opportunity to draw them all at once.
My mind wonders , I never feel this innate feeling to keep my eyes glued to so many letters. I seriously don't know how I got through highschool without picking up a book .I fooled all my teachers taking rigorous AP & Honors courses .You're probably like "What's wrong with you? ..reading is therapudic" ....yes this I know .For some reason , I'm not into endings at all. I love a series of events in anything. Which would explain why I was in love with R.Kelly's trapped in the closet songs until it ended haha .A never ending story keeps you in suspense & I just love it. In life there's no ending to nothing until it vanishes .But even then it still lives on & long.
Oops I got of topic , I told you my mind wonders.
I would check out library books but I'm in library debt haha. So that's a major factor for me not reading. But I want to buy books now , & iknew the best place to ask would be at blogspot .If you can suggest some of the coolest books to me ,I'll be so grateful.
I'm into "suspense" related books so hopefully you can help me out
For ur amusement

aTTeNTioN BLoGGeRS =)
Most of you aren't even aware at all that if you don't have a blog title you can't be followed .It's so infuriating because I can't view blogs since you won't share your link. It's like I'm tryna take a wizz really bad but the the bathroom is locked & no one is inside lol
So I took it upon myself to help out, so everyones a happy camper.
1st . Log into blospot.com
2nd. Click on the layout tab on your blogger dashboard
3rd. Click the edit link on your header
4th. Then insert a blog title (anything as long as its not blank)
Lastly click save now =)
I'm pretty sure this is the reason why you have no followers whatsoever.
P.S don't place your blog title behind your background header unless it's transparent lol
Hopefully I helped one of you out <3
